You can request permanent deletion of your PlusYar account from the app. This page explains the steps, what the request covers and the limited information that may remain.

Five simple steps
How to delete your PlusYar account.
The deletion control is available inside your PlusYar profile settings.
Go to Profile
Select your profile from the app navigation.
Open Settings
Choose Settings from the profile menu.
Choose Delete Account
Tap Delete Account to begin the permanent deletion process.
Confirm your choice
Select a reason if you wish, then confirm the deletion.

Last updated August 11, 2026. Make sure you are ready to remove the account before you confirm.
Your account is closed
Your profile and account access are removed from active use. We delete or de-identify associated information unless limited retention is reasonably needed for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or enforcement, as described in our Privacy Notice.
Shared content may remain
Messages or content already shared with other people may remain in their conversations, events or communities where removing it would affect their experience. Backup copies are removed through our normal secure backup cycle.
Organizer roles need attention
Before deleting, transfer or close events and communities you administer where appropriate. If you cannot access the app or need help with an organizer role, contact PlusYar Support.
Cannot delete the account in the app? Email support@plusyar.com from the address connected to your account. We may need to verify that the account is yours. Processing time depends on verification, technical backup cycles and applicable legal requirements. Read our Privacy Notice.
