How these guidelines work

They apply to profiles, messages, photos, events, communities and behavior connected to a PlusYar interaction — online and in person. They complement our Terms of Service, Privacy Notice and Child Safety Standards.

Treat people with respect

PlusYar should feel welcoming before, during and after every plan.

  • Do not harass, bully, threaten, stalk, shame or intimidate another person.
  • Hate speech, dehumanizing language and attacks based on identity or protected characteristics are not allowed.
  • Disagreement is acceptable; targeted humiliation and coordinated abuse are not.

Protect safety

Never use PlusYar to put people at risk or encourage dangerous conduct.

  • Violence, credible threats, exploitation, trafficking and encouragement of self-harm are prohibited.
  • Hosts must describe meaningful risks and follow applicable laws, venue rules and safety requirements.
  • If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. PlusYar email is not an emergency channel.

Adults only

PlusYar is designed for adults who are legally able to use the service.

  • You must be at least 18, or older where a higher local age of majority applies.
  • Never create an account for a minor or invite a minor to participate through PlusYar.
  • Any content that sexualizes, exploits or endangers a minor is prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Be authentic

Real connection depends on honest identities, intentions and plan details.

  • Do not impersonate another person, organization or organizer.
  • Do not create deceptive profiles, fake attendance, misleading events, scams, spam or coordinated manipulation.
  • Commercial, promotional or political activity must not be disguised as a personal or community plan.

Organize responsibly

Hosts set the tone and are responsible for accurate, usable information.

  • Clearly state the time, place, cost, accessibility, capacity and relevant participation requirements.
  • Use public, private, open and approval-required controls honestly and apply access rules fairly.
  • Cancel or update plans promptly, protect attendee information and take reasonable action when safety concerns arise.

Respect privacy and content rights

Only share what you have the right and permission to share.

  • Do not publish someone’s private details, precise location or private conversation without permission.
  • Ask before posting identifiable photos or recordings from an event or community.
  • Do not copy, sell or misuse another person’s content, identity or intellectual property.

Keep activity lawful

PlusYar cannot be used to arrange, promote or facilitate unlawful harm.

  • Illegal goods or services, fraud, sexual exploitation and extremist support are prohibited.
  • Do not evade security controls, scrape personal data, distribute malware or interfere with the service.
  • Events and communities must comply with local law, permits, licenses and venue requirements.

Report concerns — we will review them

Reports help PlusYar respond to harmful behavior and protect the wider community.

  • Use the in-app reporting or blocking tools when available, or email support@plusyar.com with relevant context.
  • We may remove content, limit discovery or messaging, suspend accounts, preserve evidence or cooperate with authorities when appropriate.
  • We consider severity, context, history and available evidence. Enforcement decisions may be reviewed when new information is provided.
