Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the PlusYar website, mobile application and related services (together, the “Services”). Please read them before creating an account or using the Services.

Effective and last updated: 16 August 2026

1. Agreement, scope and eligibility

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Notice, Community Guidelines and any feature-specific rules presented to you. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. PlusYar is intended only for people aged 18 or older, or the higher age of majority required where they live. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and may not use the Services if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

2. Accounts and account security

You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in credentials and for activity performed through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise. Do not share, sell or transfer your account. Tell us promptly at support@plusyar.com if you suspect unauthorized access, and cooperate with reasonable steps needed to secure the account.

3. Permission to use the Services

Subject to these Terms, PlusYar gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use the Services for their intended purpose. PlusYar and its licensors retain all rights in the Services, including software, design, branding and other materials that are not your User Content. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, bypass, modify or commercially exploit the Services except where the law expressly allows it.

4. Acceptable use

Use PlusYar lawfully and respectfully. You must not impersonate others; harass, threaten, exploit or discriminate against people; publish illegal, deceptive or harmful material; infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights; send spam; scrape or harvest data; introduce malicious code; evade access, age or safety controls; interfere with the Services; or help another person do any of these things. The Community Guidelines explain these standards in more detail and form part of these Terms.

5. Events, communities and real-world interactions

PlusYar helps users discover, create and coordinate activities, but user-created events and communities are organized by their users, not by PlusYar unless we expressly say otherwise. Organizers are responsible for accurate descriptions, lawful permissions, suitable venues, prices, refunds, accessibility information and rules that apply to their activity. Participants decide for themselves whether and how to attend. Use reasonable care, follow local law and venue rules, and contact emergency services—not PlusYar—when someone faces immediate danger.

6. User Content and permissions you grant

You retain ownership of photos, messages, event details, community posts and other content you submit (“User Content”). You give PlusYar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, display and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, promote and improve the Services according to your visibility choices. This licence ends when the content is deleted from our systems, subject to reasonable backup, legal, safety and shared-content retention. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.

7. Content visibility, privacy and device permissions

Your settings and the settings selected by an organizer affect who can see profiles, events, communities and content. Public material may be broadly visible, including in discovery or on a map; private material may be limited to invited people. Our Privacy Notice explains how we process personal information. Optional permissions such as location, camera, microphone, photos and notifications are controlled through PlusYar or your device and can be changed, although some features may then be unavailable.

8. Fees, purchases and user transactions

PlusYar may identify an activity as free or paid, but organizers and third parties remain responsible for prices, payment terms, cancellations, refunds, taxes and delivery unless PlusYar expressly states that it is the seller. App stores, payment providers, venues and ticketing services may apply separate terms. Before paying or committing, review the organizer’s information and the applicable third-party terms. PlusYar is not a party to a transaction solely because it was discovered or coordinated through the Services.

9. Safety, reports and enforcement

We may review reports and investigate suspected misuse. To protect users, the Services or the public, or to comply with law, we may limit visibility, remove content, restrict features, reject or cancel an event listing, preserve relevant information, warn a user, or suspend or terminate an account. We may take urgent action without advance notice where reasonably necessary, but may provide notice or an appeal path when appropriate. We do not promise to monitor every interaction or prevent every harmful act.

10. Third-party services and links

The Services may rely on or link to app stores, maps, authentication, hosting, analytics, notification, venue, ticketing and other third-party services. Those providers control their own services and terms. PlusYar does not endorse or control every third party and is not responsible for its availability, content, security, promises or transactions. Your use of a third-party service is between you and that provider.

11. Changes, availability and termination

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and the Services may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control. You may stop using PlusYar or request account deletion at any time. We may restrict or end access when you breach these Terms, create risk, or when law or service operation reasonably requires it. Terms that by their nature should continue—such as ownership, disclaimers and liability limits—remain effective after access ends.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every user statement is accurate, that an event will occur as described, that participants are suitable, or that using PlusYar will produce a particular relationship or outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PlusYar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss; loss of data, opportunity, profit or reputation; user conduct; event or community outcomes; or acts of organizers, venues or third parties. Any limitation applies only to the extent it is lawful and does not exclude liability that cannot be limited, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury where the law forbids exclusion.

14. Updates, applicable rights, disputes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, law or safety needs. The date above identifies the current version; where required, we will provide additional notice before material changes take effect. Applicable law and available courts depend on the circumstances and your country, and mandatory local consumer rights and dispute forums remain unaffected. Please contact support@plusyar.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. Legal or Terms questions may also be sent to that address.
